Here is the Steps to Enroll Checklist which will take you through the process of applying and getting into college.  KCC has a support program called Kipaipai, available for new students during their first year of college.

Kauai Community College is situated on Kauai, the northernmost Island in the State of Hawaii. Kauai is the fourth largest of the Hawaiian Islands, with land area of 622 square miles. Kauai has great weather, beautiful white sand beaches, many sites & attractions to visit, activities, and a local culture that you will enjoy discovering. These photos of Kauai and Hawaii will give you a quick trip around the state.

Here are a few things that make us stand out:

    • Job Placement: KauaiCC partners with many Kauai businesses to provide internships and job placement for our students.

    • Low Cost/Transfer Options: If you plan on earning a bachelor’s degree, spending your first two years at KauaiCC will save you thousands of dollars versus the cost of attendance at a four-year university of college. Many of our credits and programs transfer to colleges throughout the US. Students who earn an articulated Associate in Arts degree will be accepted as having fulfilled the general education requirements at all other University of Hawaii campuses.

    • High Technology: Students in KauaiCC’s Electronic Technology program now have access to a Photonics lab thanks to a gift from the Boeing Company. We are the only community college in Hawaii to have this technology available to students.

    • Environmental Awareness and Sustainability: KauaiCC is committed to sustainable practices and the development of additional sustainability programs. With Kauai’s Alaka`i ecosystem and yearlong wind, sun, and water resources, KauaiCC is the ideal place to study renewable energy and the environment.

    • Location: Kauai is a beautiful and culturally diverse location ideal for an educational environment. KauaiCC is centrally located in the town of Lihue. In addition, KauaCC is close to numerous shops, restaurants, the airport, and on a public transportation route.
