The mission of financial aid is to facilitate student achievement of academic goals by providing financial
resources to students who would otherwise be unable to pursue postsecondary education.
Assistance is provided to students in securing adequate funding from a variety of resources in a professional,
sensitive, caring, and confidential manner. The underlying principle behind financial aid programs is that parents
and students have a primary responsibility to pay for college costs as their means permit. |
PROGRAM GOALS:
To enhance the awareness and education of students and families through the development and dissemination of financial aid information.
To promote and maintain integrity in the accuracy, timeliness, and delivery of financial aid to students.
To effectively steward financial aid funds in accordance with current regulation, institutional policies, and agreements to eligible students in a fair, equitable, and responsive manner.
To provide guidance, support, and encouragement in the intellectual, personal, and social development of students served as they pursue their career goals.
To establish and strengthen collaborative partnerships that perpetuates and supports student learning and strengthen financial aid opportunities.
To improve the quality of service to students through established evaluation methodology and advisory committee recommendations.
